So, given the extremely small number of one-sixth marathons out there, Don Kern, owner of our beloved Groundhog race has dubbed this the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 1/6 Marathon. If you’ve never done the Groundhog, or you’re a seasoned veteran who has run it every year, we have a love/hate with this one. Always dependent on the weather and conditions.
The weekend kicks off on Friday night with this smaller distance. It’s a night race, so bring your lights and have fun in the woods with other cold winter night running lovers.
